Before a career in design ever crossed my mind, I had always found myself preoccupied with the purpose behind decisions made in designs around me, whether it is on a billboard advertisement, or a movie trailer. I appreciate design that goes beyond being appealing to the eye; that evokes a feeling in the viewer, as many forms of media have done for me.

My beginnings were humble, but on this long journey through the field of design, I believe I have truly found my place of passion. Being introduced to motion graphics opened up a whole new world for me; being able to take every skill and principle that I had learned and bring it to life through movement. While I am fully aware of the incredible work being done in all types of design, it only makes me more excited about motion design, for the variety of ways it can elevate and interact with other fields such UI/UX, advertising, or web development. I want my work to speak to that interest and give me the opportunity to create works that are loved by many, be it in motion, or static.
